midgetfarrelly There is not a weak song on the album. Lots of jamming riffs. Guitar sounds from the 70's, it is not rushed. Sit out on the verandah, open your mind a little and let it wash over you!

about

Mikey and I. We started as The Dome in 1986. Mikey named us, I think. Basically, the formula for the first 10 years was two electric guitars and a slab. We played choice covers. Big songs like 'Wild Thing', 'La Woman', 'Bow River' and 'Foxy Lady'. We played them how we thought they went. We only found out they were wrong in bits when we brought in other players in 2005.

Our first original song was written in 1988. It was called 'Hard Work' and it rocked quite well I thought. After that, we didn't really write another song until the reggae number 'Friday Night Desperation' came along in 1997. And then we didn't write another one for ages after that. Until we expanded into a full band and made the album 'Best in the world'. But more on that later in the year when that album will be re-released.

The songs for this album were written over the last two years. Mikey is very easy to write songs with. We've settled pretty much on him coming up with the music and me coming up with vocal melodies and lyrics. He's prolific with great musical ideas and I try to come up with vocal ideas as he is writing the music so it's very exciting and kind of magical.

Thankfully, my brother Denis came down to Dome headquarters in early 2020 to record and produce this album 'Windarra' We thank him very much for his hard work in pulling it all together. We are very proud of it!
Terry McCarthy.
